Get The Facts: All-Inclusive Resorts.

As most of you know already, I love love love all-inclusive resorts.   But for those of you who haven't been to a true all inclusive resort before, I thought I'd provide some insight into what this means and the differences between "typical all-inclusive", "luxury all-inclusive" and "super all-inclusive" resorts.

The All-Inclusive Concept
When you travel to a resort one thing that usually sets a resort apart from a regular hotel is the dining options available on the resort property.  Resorts are known for having everything you need right there on site.  However, with an all-inclusive property you don't just have the benefit of all the amenities for a good vacation right there at your finger tips, you actually don't need to bring your wallet to enjoy them.

When you choose an all-inclusive property, you pay the full price upfront before your travel date.  This means that when you arrive at the resort everything you need is paid for and all you have to do is sit back and enjoy your trip knowing everything has already been taken care of.

What To Expect At A "Typical All-Inclusive Resort"
Generally, typical all-inclusive resorts include the following:
Breakfast
Lunch
Dinner
At LEast One Snack Daily
Soft Drinks
Extras (rafts, towels, etc.)
*Many resorts do not advertise as all-inclusive but have an all-inclusive option that can be added on for an additional amount per night, per person.  Check with your resort and see if they have this option and if not, you can ask if they are currently running any specials or have any packages like a meal plan.  A lot of times it can reduce the cost of your trip significantly if you add on amenities as part of a package or special.

What To Expect At A "Super All-Inclusive Resort"
All Meals, All Day Long, Whenever & However Much You Want
All Snacks Daily
All Soft Drinks & Alcoholic Beverages
24 Hour Room Service
In Room Wet Bar
All Land Sports (including tennis, basketball, gym, etc)
All Non-Motorizes Water Sports (like snorkeling, water bikes, kayaks, etc)
