Finally, an all-inclusive resort put out a promotion with Grandparents in mind. Generations Riviera Maya, a resort within the Karisma chain, announced last year that Grandparents would be allowed to stay free for travel in 2017 and 2018.

The promotion (see below) is a bit tricky, you'll need to book a three bedroom suite with at least 2 adults in the room in order to get the 2 grandparents for free. Then the three bedroom suite becomes the price of a two bedroom suite and the room the grandparents stay in would be free. It's a great option for families who want the space and privacy so that everyone gets their own bedrooms.

The three bedroom suites at Generations Riviera Maya come with three full bedrooms, three full bathrooms (including a master bathroom with an outdoor shower and jacuzzi tub) and  a living/dining/kitchen area. The three bedroom suites have the option for ocean views only, "infinity pool" access with ocean views, or a swim up suite with ocean views. All rooms come with the Generations butler service.
