Great news Beaches Resorts fans, it's official.... Beaches Turks and Caicos is staying open past 2020!

This past May 1st (2019), I attended a meeting of the top travel agents worldwide and the higher ups at Sandals Resorts International. In the meeting we were told by the VP of Sales, Gary Sadler, that Beaches Turks and Caicos would stay open all year in 2020, and remain open 2021 and beyond.

The official announcement from Sandals Resorts International (Beaches parent company) was released this afternoon, May 8th (2019), so look for it to circulate in the news and in social media groups soon.

We were made aware that the resort will still be closing from September 3rd - October 13th, 2019, for a brief 6 week window. They've decided to use the pre-scheduled closure time to renovate the main kitchens (which cannot be done when guests are on resort) and finally finishing up the renovations in the Caribbean Village room blocks (which they were having a hard time completely due to high occupancy levels). Sounds like the resort will be better than ever, by the end of this year.

Even with the threat of closure looming, many of our clients have returned back from their most recent stays at Beaches Turks and Caicos reporting that everything is running as usual and despite the worry of potential closure, the level of service Beaches Turks and Caicos is known for remained the same throughout the resort.

Now that we know the resort is here to stay, you can definitely continue booking your stays to Beaches Turks and Caicos with confidence! We're glad to know our favorite Beaches property will be around for the long haul.
