Exciting news for Sandals Resorts fans. The brand announced this morning that Sandals Royal Curaçao is ready to book!
For those that may have caught
our announcement post about the newest Sandals resort to open, I discussed all of the highly anticipated things to come with this brand new property. But now that the official opening date is set for April 14th, 2022, more information has been released about this new resort and it's even better than we all expected!
According to Sandals, this new resort will boast the Sandals chain's first ever Food Trucks -- something previously done at Beaches Resorts and were found to be a huge hit. Three trucks will grace the property, which will include traditional Curaçao fare, Spanish tapas, and Asian fusion options for guests, all part of the all-inclusive experience, of course.

Among 9 restaurants you will also find a Sandals first, their first-ever floating restaurant called "The Duchess". I can only imagine the incredible memories about to be made here, from one-of-a-kind proposals to once-in-a-lifetime wedding receptions.

There will also be a Kanaal Cafe and Bar, created to be like the cafes you'd find along the canals in Amsterdam. They will serve premium coffee and made-to-order sweets like Stroopwaffles (my personal favorite) and Poffertjes. The cafe will also double as a Dutch wine and cheese bar.
Another unique first for this resort will be that all couples in the top two suites-- the Kurason Island Suites and the Awa Seaside Bungalows-- will be provided complimentary Sandals branded convertible Mini Coopers allowing them the ability to explore the island.

Guests in all suite categories will be able to enjoy complimentary access to Dutch bicycles and ride around exploring the 3,000 acre Sandals property, as they wish.

Among other incredible firsts for the brand, this property will boast a two-tiered infinity pool, as well as a fresh saltwater pool filtered in from the ocean with a sand bottom.

While these new features will help make set this resort apart from its sister properties around the Caribbean, the rooms are also something that will bring a unique new flair to the brand.
