Say goodbye to those paper customs and immigration forms on airplanes and say hello to the digital age of travel. Where boarding passes can be pulled up on your phone and forms can now be filled out online prior to arrival.
Effective September 1st, 2023, Jamaica has announced that the island will be requiring travelers to fill out the Immigration/Customs (C5) Forms online ahead of arrival at www.enterjamaica.com. Nothing on the forms have changed, except how you'll be filling them out. All questions remain the same.
So what happens to travelers who are unable to fill the forms out prior to arrival or aren't aware of the change? The Passport, Immigration and Citizenship Agency (PICA) has assured travelers that WiFi will be made available should you arrive and need to fill out the forms last minute. However, it is highly recommend you do so at a time you know you'll have reliable WiFi, on the off chance there are any issues. They did advise travelers that as a last resort, paper forms will still be provided should travelers not be able to use WiFi last minute.
